RECYCLE MAN VS. UNEMPLOYED ME AS VALLEY GIRL

So we are like totally trying to save the Earth here in our house and are totally into it like for sure! It's a rad thing to do! This morning I totally put the recycle bins out ....ok wait that is a lie.....I told Hubs to like put them out since I was totally asleep and ya'll know I totally love my sleep like for sure! Well I was so on my computer trying to get my taxes done since nothing like waiting until like the very last minute ~ for sure!! Low and behold the what I thought was like a nice recycle picker upper man and all shows up. This was nice since last month he totally only picked up our recycles once instead of twice a month ~ dude! I totally complained since I am like totally paying for this service I feel like I have that right! Besides the recycled goods piled up totally fast dude and I had no where to put them. Overflowing for sure! So this morning the dude totally shows up LATE, empties my recycles into his trailer then totally THROWS my recycle bin in the middle of the yard. He totally like sees me step outside then I think I totally scared him since he picked it up and put it at the curb. On my way out to get the bin, he totally like takes out the plastic wally world bags and throws them around my yard yelling "WE DON'T TAKE THESE!" I don't think he realizes I am a newly-unemployed-not-the-SAHM-type-going-insane-dying-of-boredom-to-the-exponential woman and that I could totally like blow my top at any moment and kill him!! Needless to say I will for sure be calling to complain and you can like bet on that TOTALLY! For sure dude!


UPDATE: No I have NOT lost my mind! Wait....maybe partially! This was for a game/contest I am in over at Momdot and I had to write this post in Valley Girl tongue this afternoon in order to try and save myself from eviction! They thought it would be even funnier if we weren't allowed to tell you why we were talking that way at least until later. I must admit it was funny torture! Yes the post was completely true and I did want to strangle the recycle picker upper man! I planned on posting about it anyway but I do NOT talk like that! If you guys are followers and have read prior posts about proper speaking, then you know that almost killed me!! All in fun though!

Sorry folks I had this "scheduled" to post Sunday afternoon; however, I did NOT realize until I read an email asking if I had chosen a winner that I had scheduled it with the wrong date....OOPS....sorry about that so I changed the date and although late.......HERE IT IS!!!

Now for the personal picks and trust me getting them to decide was a whole lot easier than all of us agreeing on 1st and 2nd place!

Elijah's pick was the fastest and most predictable! He is a nature and animal lover to the point of being obsessive. So Kathy wins with her turtle and fish pics! To all you rumblers ~ she was told she could enter these pics even though they were not "human" children

Isaiah's pick was well.....a lot of umm.....ummmm......go back Momma I need to see the other "dwirl adin" (girl again ~ in his world) Isaiah picked Jen and her girls at Tutu's Bliss. Now Jen I had to tell you what he said, "Hers so toot! (cute) But hers Momma shouldn't let her eat the bobbles!" Aw he cracks me up! I think I see speech therapy in the not so distant future and no I didn't misspell bubbles. He calls them bobbles!

Deciding he wanted his own pick, Hubs added another winner but I did NOT argue because I loved this picture too and well who doesn't love more prizes! Hubs and Tez picked Lindsay's post over at The Ernst Family blog. They thought the big bubble was cool and it had some action. I know his expression is cute and the big bubble is great but personally I loved his chubby little feet the most!

The other winner for not having a photo but promoting the contest is Anne!

So the phone rings the other day with a local number displayed but I was unsure who it was.....dodododo.....yep I answered it to learn this:

Enthusiastic Radio Man: "Hello (very drawn out and radio show enthusiastic) may I please speak with Angela"

Me: "This is Angela" timid and unsure if I wanted to say it was me!!

Little Too Happy For My Taste Man: "This is *man talking too fast to catch his name* from KHITS and you have won four free tickets to the looney bin!"

At this point he seemed a little TOO excited for ME so I thought maybe it was a joke!

Me: "I won what?"

Excitement Fading Man: "Four tickets to the Looney Bin"

Me: "Is this a joke? What did you say?"

Short and Sweet Man: "THE LOONEY BIN"

Me: "OK! What is the Looney Bin?" the idea keeps running through my head that maybe this was a joke broadcast over the radio or the world has finally figured out me and my three friends are ACTUALLY CERTIFIABLE and we get in FREE!

Annoyed Man: "It is a comedy club, ma'am! Do you know where we are located?"

Me: "Uh no! Why?"

Thinking Maybe the Joke is on Him Man: "So you can come pick up the tickets!! We are at blah blah blah" The rest was rattled off entirely too fast and the notes I have written down for directions may not even get me there! Oops I guess I really did win something but I thought I was going to be the butt of the joke ON radio so I thought I was actually being the smart one. Sad if they play that talk at the Looney Bin ~ maybe I should not go!

Yes I am happy I won tickets to some place I've never even heard of BUT that isn't the contest I signed up for so I was skeptical! I signed up for a Simon Mall Giftcard drawing and if I could choose I would've much rather have won the gift card then some trip to the Looney Bin! Oh well free is free right!
