I got my very first blog award!

First I would like to thank my parents for spanking me and not letting me talk back because now I have so much more to say about life and raising my children. I would like to thank Hubs for watching music videos (I know, right!), football, basketball and for falling asleep on the couch while watching TV so I have an excuse to carry on with my blogging addiction. I would like to thank the doctors who cannot cure insomnia because if I were cured then I would not be able to stay awake countless hours during the night to read blogs, blog stalk and ramble on as I tend to do. I would also like to thank my children for being one big giant ball of sweet, cute, ornery, crazy, funny and downright bad at times rolled into one so I have blogging topics when I have "blogging block". Next.......................

That was just warm up for someday when I am a famous blogger and the blog award ceremonies turn out like the Oscars! You know the day........when I actually have a bunch of readers!! Ha!

Wow an award and more responsibilites all in one day! Can I handle this excitement? Of course! Let me see....who shall I choose.....I am going to TRY to narrow it down to three....hmmm......

I LOVE TO LAUGH SO.....

Georgie at Decisionally Challenged ~ She cracks me up even with a Tuesday Tidbit 3 word sentence. What is funny to me is after a few little chats we discovered we both live in the same state, then discovered we live in the same town and THEN discovered our children go to the same school which means we live pretty close and it's a small world after all! We haven't met yet maybe we fear we aren't as funny in person ~ just kidding ~ it is probably a small fear of blog stalkers ~ just kidding ~ or not! She is just too funny so go check her out!

I recently stumbled upon Jenners at Life with A Little One and More or she stumbled upon me ~ who cares right! If you read this post of mine and followed my linky love, then you know why her blog is a new love of mine! She is absolutely hilarious and willing to humiliate herself for the love of blogging! She is laugh out loud funny to me!!

Saundra who writes An Italian Mama Gone Crazy also cracks me up. I love sarcasm! She introduced me to Scrapblog and well that is probably a bad thing but I am sure glad. Her Bachelor recaps truly are funny, sarcastic and exactly what I am thinking most of the time. I leave her post sized comments well I guess I leave post sized comments all over blogger but I just love her blog so go check her out too!

Whew...that was hard work!

I read a ton of blogs so that was SERIOUSLY narrowing it down!!

I don't know if I could handle blog fame since posting, reading, stalking, lurking, searching, commenting and responding to comments has begun to fill up a lot of my time. Now awards! Wow!

MINOR OBSESSIONS MONDAY

Well I haven't really been obsessive so much THIS past week due to the fact that my Internet was screwed up. However supposedly it is "fixed" now so I will find some more new obsessions for next Monday! I will share a blog I frequent though b/c it is simply delish.......Seven Super Summers. Becky the writer is a friend of a friend who sent me there to read a certain blog entry and OF COURSE I got hooked and read the entire thing! Who wouldn't be hooked....HELLO....a mother of seven with a husband battling cancer and she still finds time to write for 2 blogs and cook some major desserts along with all the everyday wife and mom duties!!!! Why do I like her blog: She does Chocoholics Anonymous on Fridays and she has some recipes WITH pics that are hmm.......I'll just say tempting to be nice! I haven't actually tried any yet and just get my chocolate fix by licking the screen and printing the pictures to post all over my walls as a reminder to why I am overweight......but if they taste as good as they look or sound then it MUST be a sin! Do do do do! If you read Becky's blog, then you must also read her other blog My Superman's Kryptonite that chronicles her husband's fight against cancer and how that affects their lives as a family. Hey Becky if for some queer reason YOU are reading THIS then I think you should change the title Seven Super Summers to Superman's Wonder Woman!!! Happy reading!

MINOR OBSESSIONS MONDAY

I found a new blog that I love. I have this habit of clicking on blogs I see on others' blog lists and half the time I start reading and don't stop until I have read them all. I decided I will start sharing them in a new weekly blog called Minor Obsessions!! My new love is Let's Explore . She has some great ideas for preschoolers and she is quite the creative one. She also has a store and I just received my box of goodies yesterday. Every thing arrived in good shape, worth the money and exactly how it appeared on the store site!! I am going to try many of her ideas like the file folder games, the weather wheel, the ABC photobook but I am going to do one for Elijah's weekly 1st grade sight words and many many more of her creative ideas. I especially like the cookie cutter and alphabet crayon ideas since Lord knows I have plenty of old and broken crayons around the house!! I will let you all know how it turns out. My goal is to become a more creative Mom. I am creative but I want to be more creative and let my kids be creative with me!!

I also found The Crafty Crow. WOW I tell you where do these people come up with these things! I can see I am going to have to get movin' and create a calendar for when to create what! I guess we will all see how well I do! Wish me or I guess I should say wish me and the boys luck!!
