WHY IS IT?

Why is it every time I find a tampon I like (yes I am picky!) the manufacturer discontinues that particular type? Huh? Comfort is a plus and I would rather have cardboard b/c (one) they are flushable and (two) now that I am a recycler I don't think I want to recycle the plastic applicators! Ha! I know, I know TMI!
