WW ~ I'M A BIG BOY NOW.......NOT SO FAST WEE ONE!!

Isaiah cried for a week because one the older boys started school a week before him and that just isn't fair and two he did NOT want new teachers. Finally, on Aug 18th it was his time to start Pre-K and boy was he excited. I failed to mention to him that only one of his friends from the three year old class would be in the 4 yr old program with him purposely trying to ease the transition knowing that he would make new friends. Why announce this little tidbit and face the meltdown? Motherhood ~ gotta love it!! So here he is my big boy ready for his first day of Pre-K a few weeks ago...

I can NOT believe my BABY will be in Kindergarten next year. I know that is a full year away but it just makes me sad. I don't think you realize the "they grow up so fast" quote until it feels like they went from 3 months to 4 years in NO time at all!! Hubs had a minor meltdown once he realized Zay was in Pre-K after he came home from school to tell us about his day. I thought Hubs might cry but alas he just sat in deep thought then hugged HIS boy!!

Isaiah has wanted to be FIVE since the day he turned three. He seriously is obsessed with turning five. I guess five is a huge milestone to him in that you finally become a BIG KID! While cooking dinner a few nights ago, Zay came in and said, "Mommy, do you know why I like being four?" I said, "No why?" He responded with "because that means I am finally almost five!" My response, "Don't rush things baby boy! You just turned 4!"
