Have fun!

We went swimming yesterday and of course I put sunscreen on the boys not because they EVER burn but for the prevention of cancer. I forgot to put sunscreen on myself until an hour and a half later. Now I present you with....

5 REASONS WHY I SHOULD HAVE USED SUNSCREEN EARLIER

5. The top portion of my left arm from wrist to shoulder is burnt!

4. The top portion of my right arm from wrist to shoulder is burnt!

3. My face is burnt!

2. My shoulders are burnt and they hurt REALLY BAD!

#1

My back is burnt AGAIN after just finishing peeling like a nasty lizard and I know that it is going to peel again now! It hurts so bad I want to cry! It hurts to wear a shirt! IF I had both privacy and a rockin' body, I would SO be topless right now!! Oh the joys of being caucasian!

  1. I have a similar situation in that I don't tan, just burn. I guess that's what I get for being a red-head.

    I once got 2nd degree burns on my legs when I decided to get a healthy shade of pink after coming off Acutain which clearly states that you should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

  2. I'm so sorry about your sunburn. I had terrible luck with sunburn this week at the pool. I put sun lotion on all the kids, and we still managed to burn. I got a really bad one on my back (where I couldn't reach). Hope you feel better soon! I'm playing along today.

  3. I know what you're talking about. I'm married to a very light skinned Scandinavian blond and have a similar complected son. We go out and I turn brown and almost never burn, sunscreen or no. They peek out the door at the sun and turn bright red and start to peel.

    You could always get a farmer tan like mine - dark forearms, head, neck, and legs; lily white everywhere else. That way your back would always be ready to burn. {*grin*}
