Plans were to be at Kitefest at the opening however the cable man showed up a day early so we ended up 2 1/2 hours later but we had fun anyway. My sister Lisa came down with Logan and Braden to join in our fun. We had a really good time and it was FREE! Gotta love free! Well free admission that is b/c I ended up buying 4 - $3 kites instead of making the kites b/c the handmade kites weren't really flying. But $12 is still a good deal! Here's the family fun:
It is funny to me how a simple thing like flying a kite with your children can make the worries of the day seem so small!
